In the morning, at the Executive Building, George Street, His Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Youngcare.

In the evening, at Old Government House, Queensland University of Technology Gardens Point Campus, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the 2015 National Trust Queensland Heritage Awards, where the Governor addressed guests and presented awards, including the John Herbert Award for the most outstanding nomination to the Department of Education and Training for the project “Queensland Schools Heritage Strategy”.
