On Saturday, in the evening, at the BCEC, South Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Surf Life Saving Queensland Awards of Excellence and the Governor addressed the guests.

In the evening at QPAC, South Brisbane, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Symphony Orchestra performance 'Superfamous'.
