On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC signed the proclamation resuming administration of the Government of the State of Queensland.

In the evening, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey greeted members of the public visiting to view the 2019 Christmas Lights display.
