On Thursday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, departed Cairns Regional Council for Aurukun Aboriginal Shire Council.

Following, at Puuya Foundation, Lockhart River, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD visited the foundation, met with parents and children and received a briefing from staff on the operations.

Following, at Orange Sky Australia, Lockhart River, Professor Nimmo received a briefing on the operations of the service and met with staff and volunteers.

Following, at the Aurukun PCYC, Her Excellency attended the funeral for Senior Police Liaison Officer, Waal-Waal Chevathun and laid a wreath.

Following, at Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council Chambers, Professor Nimmo received a briefing from the CEO.

Following, Professor Nimmo departed Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council for Weipa Town Authority.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency departed Aurukun Aboriginal Shire Council for Weipa Town Authority.
