On Monday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC signed a Writ for the by-election for the electoral district of Toowoomba South in the Queensland Parliament.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Michael Ries, Deputy Clerk of the Parliament, for the presentation of two bills for Assent.
