On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of Helensvale Seniors visiting for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

Following, His Excellency assumed duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, and the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes assumed duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor hosted a garden party to thank those who assisted the community both during and in the aftermath of Cyclone Debbie, where His Excellency addressed guests.
