On Tuesday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales and Mr Dennis Wilson arrived at Government House as overnight guests of Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD.

Following, in the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia arrived at Government House as an overnight guest of Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a working lunch prior to a Vice-Regal Gathering. Guests included: His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd); Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC and Mr Dennis Wilson; Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers AO; Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC; His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM and Mrs Darrilyn Dawson; His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM and Ms Ruth Jones; Mrs Kate Hastings and Ms Yolande Yorke.

Following, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a Vice-Regal Gathering, attended by His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd); Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC; Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC; Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC; His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM; His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM.

Meanwhile, at the Gallery of Modern Art and Queensland Art Gallery, South Brisbane and Old Government House, Brisbane City, Professor Nimmo hosted guided tours for the Vice-Regal partners of the State Governors and the Administrator of the Northern Territory.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a State Dinner for the Vice-Regal Gathering.
