On Thursday, in the morning, at Customs House, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the 2025 Queensland AgriFutures Rural Women's Award, and the Governor addressed guests. 

Following, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of Executive Council.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency departed Government House for Official Travel to Lockyer Valley Regional Council, where she attended a community event at the Queensland National Hotel with Laidley and Grantham residents impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

Following, at Gatton Local Disaster Coordination Centre, Her Excellency received a briefing from the Deputy Mayor, Cr Chris Wilson and met with Council representatives and centre staff.

In the evening, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official Travel to Lockyer Valley Regional Council.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a dinner in support of the India Trade Mission, and the Governor addressed guests.
