In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Emerald for Alpha.

Following, in Alpha, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey met Barcaldine Regional Council Mayor, Councillor Rob Chandler and CEO, Mr Des Howard, and were briefed on issues in the local region.

Alpha Myor

Following, at the Alpha Showgrounds, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the 50th Alpha Agricultural Show, where the Governor addressed guests and officially opened the Show, before returning to Brisbane.
