On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of City Parklands visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie for the presentation of two Bills, to which the Governor granted Assent.

Following, at 1 William Street, His Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in honour of Queenslanders recognised in the Australia Day 2021 Honours Lists, and the Governor addressed guests.
