On Monday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted an afternoon tea in support of National Palliative Care Week 2024, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s performance of ‘Mahler's Song on the Earth’.
