On Friday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC hosted a luncheon for officers of the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force. Guests included: Commander Peter Tedman DSM, OAM, ADC, RAN; Air Commodore Scott Winchester; Wing Commander Tony Blair; Lieutenant Commander Craig Flynn; Warrant Officer Col Scott; Warrant Officer Rob Ettles; and Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM.

RAN RAAF Lunch 20 Nov

Following, the Governor received the Deputy Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Michael Ries, for the presentation of five Bills for Assent.

In the evening, at the Gallery of Modern Art, South Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Official Opening of the 8th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, where the Governor addressed guests.
