On Wednesday, in the morning, at St John’s Gate, Clerkenwell, London, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey met with members of the Order of St John and St John Ambulance and toured the Museum of the Order of St John.
In the afternoon, at the National Archives, Richmond, London, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey viewed the Letters Patent of 6 June 1859 establishing the separate Colony of Queensland.
In the evening, at Australia House, London, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended a Recital in honour of Leanne Benjamin AM OBE, the inaugural recipient of the Queensland Agent-General Award, and the Governor addressed guests.
