On Thursday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted students from the Kelvin Grove State College tennis team visiting Government House to train on the Government House grass tennis court.

In the afternoon, at the Executive Building, Brisbane, His Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of four Bills for Assent.

In the evening, at Griffith University, Nathan Campus, Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a celebration of the early years of the Griffith University Library.
