On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea to acknowledge the support of the No. 33 Squadron of the Royal Australian Air Force and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane Girls Grammar School, Spring Hill, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the official opening of the new Science Learning Centre, and the Governor addressed guests and unveiled a plaque. 

Following, at Indooroopilly State High School, Indooroopilly, His Excellency attended the End of Year Speech Night, and the Governor addressed guests and presented the two Dux of the year awards.
