On Tuesday, from 9am until 4pm, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD greeted members of the public as they signed messages of condolence and laid floral tributes. State Leaders and dignitaries continued to call at Government House to sign messages of condolence on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

 

In the evening, at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a service of Thanksgiving for the life and work of Her Majesty Elizabeth II Queen of Australia. The Governor delivered a tribute and a reading.
