On Monday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr Norihiro Nakayama, accompanied by Senior Deputy Director for Oceania Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr Masaharu Shimizu, and Consul-General of Japan in Brisbane, Mr Kazunari Tanaka

Following, His Excellency departed Government House for official travel to Livingstone Shire and Rockhampton.

In the afternoon, at Farnborough, His Excellency visited Farnborough State School, and the Governor addressed students and guests.

Following, at the Hub, Yeppoon, His Excellency received a briefing from Livingstone Shire Council representatives.

Following, at the Hub, Yeppoon, His Excellency received a briefing from Livingstone Local Disaster Management representatives. 

Following, at Keppel Bay Sailing Club, Yeppoon, His Excellency hosted a reception for members of the community affected by the recent bushfires, and the Governor addressed guests.
