On Sunday, in the morning, at Jezzine Barracks, Townsville, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Townsville City Council Australia Day Awards Ceremony, and the Governor presented the Citizen of the Year awards.

Following, at the Army Museum, Townsville, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the Official Party morning tea.

Following, at Jezzine Barracks, Townsville, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the Australia Day Flag Raising Ceremony, and the Governor received the Royal Salute, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey returned to Government House following official travel to Townsville.
