In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received Senior Paediatrician, Children’s Health, Queensland Hospital and Health Services, Professor John Pearn AO GCStJ RFD and Medical Director (Developmental Paediatrics), Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, Dr Honey Heussler.

Following, in the afternoon, the Governor received the High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Australia, His Excellency Mr Burhan Gafoor. 

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner to acknowledge the Anglican Archbishop of Brisbane and his honorary legal advisers.  Guests included: His Grace the Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall and Dr Christa Aspinall; the Honourable Justice Debra Mullins and Mr Patrick Mullins; the Honourable Justice David Thomas and Mrs Jane Thomas; the Right Reverend Geoff Smith and Mrs Lyn Smith; and Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM and Mrs Julie Gower.
