On Monday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Mount Isa City Council for Official Travel to Burke Shire Council.

Following, at Burke Shire Nijinda Burlga Hall, Burketown, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing from the Mayor and Councillors and met with staff.

Following, at Burke Shire Nijinda Burlga Hall, Burketown, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Morning Tea in support of the Community of Burketown, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at the Burketown Primary Health Clinic, Burketown, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Burke Shire Council for Official Travel to Quilpie Shire Council.

Following, at the Quilpie Multipurpose Health Service, Quilpie, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff.

Following, at the Quilpie Visitor Information Centre, Quilpie, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited the Museums and Art Gallery and met with staff.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from Official travel to Quilpie Shire Council.
