On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Queensland Police Memorial Service for Constable Rachel McCrow and Constable Matthew Arnold and Her Excellency laid the first wreath.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Queensland and the Chief Justice, the Honourable Helen Bowskill assumed duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.
