On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, received the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honourable Curtis Pitt MP, accompanied by Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie and Sergeant-at-Arms, Mr Michael Watkins, for the presentation of two Appropriation Bills for Assent.

Following, at Government House His Excellency hosted a breakfast for overnight guests.  

Following, guests departed Government House.

In the evening, at Hamilton, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended a reception in celebration of the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, and the Governor addressed guests.
