On Friday, at the Weipa Town Authority Council Chambers, Rocky Point, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received a briefing from the Chair and Council Members and met with staff.

Following, at Weipa Integrated Health Service, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on the operations and met with staff and patients.

Following, at Albatross Bay Resort Deck Restaurant, Weipa, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Morning Tea in support of the Weipa Community, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Western Cape College, Weipa Campus, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the College and read a book to students.

Following, at Weipa Town Authority Council Chambers, Rocky Point, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Working Lunch with the Chair of Weipa Town Authority.

Following, at Weipa Potters Club, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo, toured the Club and met with local potters.

Following, at Western Cape Cultural Centre, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the Centre, viewed various exhibitions and met with staff and volunteers.
