On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received the Premier of Queensland and Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP.  

Following, at Bundamba State Secondary College, Her Excellency attended a school assembly where the Governor addressed guests and participated in a Q&A session with Year 12 Legal Studies Class.  

Following, at The Park – Centre for Mental Health, Wacol, Her Excellency toured the facility and met with staff.  

Following, at Government House, members of Redcliffe Community Bus for the Aged, visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted an Afternoon Tea in support of World Down Syndrome Day, and the Governor addressed guests.  

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Dinner in support of Multicultural Day, and the Governor addressed guests.
