On Thursday, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD, received High Commissioner of India in Australia, His Excellency Mr Gopal Baglay and Deputy High Commissioner, Mr Suneet Mehta. 

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. 

Following, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted an afternoon tea in support of World Down Syndrome Day and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, in the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a dinner in support of the Brisbane Organising Committee for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the Governor addressed guests.
