On Friday, in the afternoon, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, visited Townsville, North Queensland, where the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted an Investiture Ceremony for residents of North Queensland, recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced on Australia Day 2014 and Queen’s Birthday 2014, and recipients of Australian Bravery Decorations announced on 24 March 2014.
