On Monday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of three Bills: a Building Units and Group Titles and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022, a Coal Mining Safety and Health and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022, and a Betting Tax and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022.  

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received Projects Officer, Bundaberg Regional Council, Ms Betty Kao.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted an Investiture Ceremony for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2022 Australia Day Honours List and 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours List: Group Captain Daniel Cassilles CSC; Squadron Leader Simon Chittleborough CSC; Major Geoffrey Slavin CSC; Leading Aircraftwoman Natasha Evans CSC; The late Mr Matt Mccracken OAM, received By Mrs Wendy McCracken; Ms Kaylee McKeown OAM; Mrs Deirdre McNeil OAM; Dr Phillip Moulds OAM; Mrs Rhonda Nunns OAM; Mr John Pearce OAM; Patrick Ringold OAM; Mr John Spink OAM; Mrs Beryl Sutcliffe OAM; Mr Jean van der Westhuyzen OAM; Mrs Toni White OAM; Warrant Officer Class One Bradley Bargenquast OAM(Mil; Squadron Leader Emily Carrie CSM; Major Charmian McKean CSM; Major Lionel Orreal CSM; Warrant Officer Michael Gaugg CSM; Major Matthew Hamill Commendation for Distinguished Service.
