On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea for the 2016 Premier of Queensland’s Export Award finalists where the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Senior Lieutenant Colonel Chng Kim Chuan, Commanding Officer, 191 Squadron, Republic of Singapore Navy; Lieutenant Colonel Edmund Teh, Commanding Officer, RSS Resolution, Republic of Singapore Navy; and Commander Mark McConnell, Commanding Officer, HMAS Moreton, Royal Australian Navy.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea for Australia Indigenous Education Foundation Year 12 Graduates where His Excellency addressed guests.

In the evening, at Gallipoli Barracks, Brisbane, the Governor attended the Australian Army Queensland University Regiment Dining In Night where His Excellency addressed guests.
