On Wednesday, from 9am until 4pm, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD greeted members of the public as they signed messages of condolence and laid floral tributes. State Leaders and dignitaries continued to call at Government House to sign messages of condolence on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Brisbane for Official Travel to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory and the Honourable Justice Debra Mullins AO commenced duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.

In the evening, at Government House Canberra, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a dinner for Vice-Regal representatives of Australia.
