On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, via teleconference, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Australia, Her Excellency Ms Beate Grzeski; Dr Markus Ederer; Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Brisbane, Professor Michael Rosemann; Head of the Environment and Climate Section, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Australia, Mr Sebastian Dern; and Executive Director of the AHK – German Australian Chamber of Industry and Trade, Mr Marko Walde.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Government House for Official Travel to Maranoa Regional Council.

In the evening, at Roma Explorers Inn, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received, Mayor, Maranoa Regional Council, Cr Wendy Taylor and Deputy Mayor, Maranoa Regional Council, Cr Cameron O’Neil for a working dinner.
