On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended breakfast at the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia (ASFA) Conference.

 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency received the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia Chairman, the Honourable Gary Nairn AO; the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australian National Chief Executive Officer, Mr Peter Kaye AM ESM; and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia, Board Member, Ms Lynne Foley OAM.

 

In the evening, at the residence of the Consul-General of Japan, Hamilton, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended a reception in celebration of the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, and the Governor addressed guests.
