On Saturday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received His Excellency the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Her Excellency Lady Lynne Cosgrove.

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey departed Brisbane for an official visit to the Gold Coast.

In the afternoon, at the Gold Coast Arts Centre, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended Opera Australia’s performance of ‘The Marriage of Figaro’, and then returned to Brisbane.
