On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO received the Ambassador of Portugal, His Excellency Mr Pedro Rodrigues da Silva, Mrs Rosa Valente da Silva, and Portuguese Honorary Consul, Mrs Diana Lopes.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted members from Victoria Towers Over 50’s Group visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

Following, His Excellency, departed Government House for official travel to Deception Bay.

Following, at Deception Bay Police Station, Deception Bay. His Excellency received a briefing from Queensland Police service representatives and toured the facility.

Following, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes AC, Deputy Governor, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, His Excellency returned to Government House following official travel to Deception Bay.
