On Thursday, in the morning, the Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC and Mr Dennis Wilson and the Governor of Western Australia, His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM & Mrs Darrilyn Dawson departed Government House.

Following, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at the Port of Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended a Reception aboard USS America and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Reception for Members of the Order of Malta, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Queensland Ballet performance of ‘Trilogy’.
