On Thursday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Wuhan for Beijing.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the Forbidden City.

Following, at Dongcheng District, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey met with Mr Lei Wei, Vice President, Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

In the evening, at the Australian Embassy Beijing, the Governor and Mrs Jersey received a briefing on the diplomatic and trade relationship from Her Excellency Ms Jan Adams.
