On Friday, at Parliament House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, attended the 2024 Queensland Overseas Foundation Award Ceremony, and the Governor addressed guests and presented awards.

Following, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted an afternoon tea in support of the 125th Anniversary of the Braille House Library's official opening, and the Governor addressed guests.
