On Monday, in the morning, at the Longreach Regional Council Chambers, Longreach, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended a meeting of the Longreach Regional Council Mayoral Ambassadors.

Following, at Longreach Regional Council Chambers, Longreach, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing from Longreach Regional Council representatives.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo was hosted by Longreach Regional Council Mayor, Councillor Tony Rayner on a walking tour of the main street of Longreach to meet local business owners.

Following, at the Qantas Founders Museum, Longreach, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facility and met with staff.

Following, at Longreach Hospital, Longreach, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facility and met with staff and patients.

In the afternoon, at the School of Distance Education, Longreach, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing, toured the facility and greeted students online in their digital classrooms.

Following, at Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre, Nathan, Her Excellency was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp, Lieutenant Commander Nicholas Robinson RAN at the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Memorial Service to honour Firefighter First Class Izabella Nash, and laid the first wreath.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from official travel to Longreach Regional Council and Winton Shire Council.
