On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM signed a Message for a Bill.   

Following, at Brisbane City Hall, Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the 2024 Queensland Volunteering Awards, and the Governor addressed guests and presented awards.

Following, at Government House, students from St Luke’s Catholic Primary School visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received Ambassador of Netherlands, Her Excellency Mrs Ardi Stoios-Braken, Honorary Consul of Netherlands in Queensland, Ms Marjon Wind and First Embassy Secretary, Ms Yousra Chaábane.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Government House for Official Travel to Cairns Regional Council.
