In the afternoon, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Excellency Mr Thanh Nghi Luong and Mrs Thi Thu Hong Nguyen.

Following, at the Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law, Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the 2014 Australasian Institute of Judicial Administration (AIJA) Oration delivered by Master of the Rolls and Head of Civil Justice, The Right Honourable Lord Dyson.

In the evening, at the Stokehouse Restaurant, South Bank, the Governor attended the AIJA Oration Dinner.
