On Wednesday, in the morning, at Anzac Square, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Anzac Day Commemoration Committee (Queensland) Students' Anzac Commemoration Ceremony, where the Governor addressed guests and laid the first wreath.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Patrons' Dinner at GH in support of a Healthy Queensland. Guests included: Dr Christian Rowan MP and Mrs Jane Rowan; Professor Arun Sharma AM; Dr Neil Bartels OAM; Mr Carlton Meyn; Mr Robert Gregg; Mr Matt Gardiner; Dr Jane Black; Ms Lyndsey Rice; Ms Anna Voloschenko; Dr Robyn Littlewood; Ms Susan Bambling; Ms Preshni Pillay; Professor Gita Mishra; Ms Sheree Hughes; Ms Louise O'Neill; Mrs Louise Oriti; Ms Simone Garske; Mr Andrew Barron; and Ms Yolande Yorke.
