On Thursday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey returned to Brisbane from official travel to the United Kingdom and Malaysia, and the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes ceased duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Brisbane, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.
