On Monday, in the morning, at Government House, Mrs Kaye de Jersey, with His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, hosted a morning tea for the Queensland Country Women’s Association and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Oxley, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey called upon His Grace Archbishop Emeritus John Bathersby. Also present were Reverend Monsignor Peter Meneely, Vicar-General, Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane and Mrs Anne John.
