On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception to celebrate 60 years of service to the community by the Queensland Council of Social Service, and the Governor addressed guests.
