On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the house and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Australia, His Excellency Mr Nguyen Tat Tahnh and Madam Nguyen Tu Hyye, along with First Secretary, Ms Chau Le and UQ Honorary Research Fellow, Dr Hong Hai Nguyen.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted an afternoon tea in support of National Palliative Care Week 2023, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Dinner in honour of Queenslanders recognised in the Australia Day 2023 Honours List, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Associate Professor Rhonda Faragher AO and The Venerable Michael Faragher; Dr Sonya Bennett AM and Mr Bruce Bennett; Mrs Mary Seefried AM and Mr Mark Williams; Ms Clare O'Connor PSM and Mr Paul O'Driscoll; Superintendent Craig Huxley APM and Ms Marianna Huxley; Mr Daryl Gould OAM and Mrs Carmel Gould OAM; Mr Andrew Kendall OAM and Mrs Kitty Kendall; Mr Larry Ormsby OAM and Ms Pam Benneche; Lieutenant Colonel Khalid El Khaligi and Mrs Suzanne El Khaligi; and Mrs Kate Hastings and Mr Bob Hastings APM.
