On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea for the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea for the presentation of the 2018 Winston Churchill Fellowship awards, and the Governor presented awards and addressed guests.

In the evening, at the United Service Club, Spring Hill, His Excellency attended the 2018 Patron’s Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
