On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie for the presentation of a Bill, to which the Governor granted Royal Assent.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the March 2021 Bravery List: Senior Sergeant Desmond James Hearn, Sergeant David Christopher Ives, Detective Senior Sergeant Adrian Vincent Sala, Senior Constable Karen Joyce Wakefield, Sergeant Matthew Wakerley and Sergeant Lyle Anthony Wiss. 

Following, at 1 William Street, His Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours List: Mr Frank Ronald Tudball OAM; Dr Philip Henry Vardy OAM; Ms Alice Mary Walters OAM; Sergeant Megan Elizabeth Ward APM; Mrs Rhonda Joyce Weston AM; Mr Martin Charles White OAM; Mr Lorin James Nicholson OAM; Mr Adam Whitehouse BM; Mrs Sandra Rose Doumany OAM; and Dr John Glover Youngman OAM.
