On Friday, in the morning, at Rocky Point, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey visited Western Cape College, and the Governor addressed students and guests.

Following, at Weipa, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey visited the Rio Tinto East Weipa Mine.

In the afternoon, at Weipa, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey visited RAAF Base Scherger.
