On Saturday, in the morning, at the Surat Visitor Information Centre, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD visited the Cobb & Co Changing Station Museum, toured the facility and met with staff.

Following, at the Surat on Balonne Gallery, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited the ‘In It For The Long Haul’ exhibition by Ms Kathy Ellem, as part of the 100^th Anniversary Cobb & Co Festival.

In the afternoon, at Timber Crate Café, Surat, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received, Councillor Jane Vincent, Maranoa Regional Council, for a working lunch.

Following, at the Surat Shire Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited and toured the heritage-listed hall, as part of the 100^th Anniversary Cobb & Co Festival.

Following, at the Roma RSL Sub-branch Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a reception in support of the Maranoa Regional Council community, and the Governor addressed guests.
