On Wednesday, in the morning, at Cordalba, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC visited Cordalba State School, and the Governor addressed students and guests, presented student of the week awards and read a book.
Following, at Childers, His Excellency laid a wreath at the Memorial Hall and Honours Board.
Following, at Childers, His Excellency visited the Childers Backpacker Memorial.
Following, at the Isis Club, Childers, His Excellency hosted a community morning tea, and the Governor addressed guests.
In the afternoon, at the Community Hub, Gin Gin, His Excellency hosted a meeting with Patronages and Community organisations.
Following, at the Community Hub, Gin Gin, His Excellency attended the One Million Trees project, and the Governor planted a tree and unveiled a plaque.
Following, at Gin Gin, His Excellency visited Gin Gin State School, and the Governor addressed students and guests, presented student of the week awards and read a book.
In the evening, His Excellency returned to Government House following official travel to Bundaberg.
