On Monday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception to farewell Mr Piers Lane AO as Artistic Director of the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, where the Governor addressed guests.  

In the evening, at the Concert Hall, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Governor attended the Australian World Orchestra’s (AWO) 2017 Chamber Concert performance ‘AWO - Chamber 8 on Tour’.
